Ideas For Making Money from Your Blog

How great would it be to be able to make money from doing something you love doing and would do, even if you weren’t being paid? If you have a blog and are already writing posts, are you being paid? There are so many easy ways to make your blog pay you. I am not talking about big dollars, although there are people who make very substantial amounts of money from blogging. I’m just talking about a little bit of pocket money. Perhaps you‘d like free internet hosting and free telephone. Your blog could easily earn you enough to pay for the cost of blogging.

One of the easiest ways is to get a plug- in which lets you add Google ad sense to your site. It will display little ads from Google down the side or across the top of your posts. There are plenty of these plug- ins and it doesn’t have to be Google, they are just the most popular, so most people know what I mean when I explain the idea. You can set them up in several different combinations so you can have a bit of fun changing them around to suit your site.

Another way to earn some money is to go to your web host or to where you got your domain name and go to their affiliate section. Most have an affiliate section where you can sign up to get some code to put on your site. I like to use a little picture on the side of my web page. It shows a picture of the host logo and when people click on the picture, they go to a sign up page for web hosting. If they buy from my web host, I get a small commission.

This is a very simple form of affiliate marketing. If you want to do more, you could write an article recommending a product and post it to your site with an affiliate link to the products sales page. If your reader buys the product, you earn some money.

If you have something to sell yourself, like an e-book or something similar, you could write an article and post it to your site. Some one may buy it. If you need to be paid over the internet, you could set up an account with PayPal, as many people, especially those who use e-bay, have a PayPal account. You will probably find many of the affiliates use PayPal, too.

These are just some simple ideas. If you want to get more involved, there are plenty of courses and information sources over the internet. Many of the affiliate programs also include free training.

Have a look around before you pay for information, which just may be available free.
