Affiliate marketing is easy for you because you don’t have to offer customer support or a product. You will need a domain name, domain hosting, a blog (I recommend Wordpress), and traffic.
The cheapest way to get traffic is to offer lots of great content on your blog. You can add some video tutorials or something interesting about your topic. Make sure you submit these to sites like You Tube with your link back to your website. Interesting, informative articles can be submitted to places like E-zine Articles with a link back to your site placed prominently in the author resources box.
Your articles and videos will direct people back to your website. This is your free traffic.
Once they arrive at your site, give them some valuable gifts in exchange for their email address and you have the beginnings of your list. Keep them interested in your site with lots of content. Interesting, informative or fun information on the topic of your blog will keep interest strong and attract more followers.
You will need an auto-responder to gather their details and regularly send them information, gifts or offers. The offers are usually affiliate offers but eventually you can look at developing your own product and getting affiliates to sell it for you.
